Casa Mița Biciclista, also known as Casa Teodorescu, is a building steeped in history in the heart of Bucharest. The architectural masterpiece by N. C. Mihăescu is characterised by richly decorated façades with balconies and reliefs of angels, lions and putti. The name of the house commemorates Maria Mihăescu, the first woman in Bucharest, who was passionate about cycling and known for her extravagant lifestyle.
The renovation in 2022, carried out by the Spanish company Mantor, a leading player in the Romanian construction industry, amounted to an impressive 4.5 million euros. Today, Casa Mița Biciclista stands as an impressive testimony to the combination of history, architecture and modern restoration in Bucharest.
